Alignment and Ball Joint Tools
FASTRAX Adjustable
Camber Caster Gauge
The FASTRAX adjustable camber caster gauge lets
you do your own performance front end alignments at home, in the
shop, or at the track. Accurate,
easy to use, and portable it measures camber settings from +/- 4
degrees and caster from -4 to +12 degrees.
Don’t trust your performance car to the kid at the local
chain garage hoping he’ll set the front end the way you’ve
asked. Do it yourself,
do it right, and have the ability to test and tune multiple settings
if you like. Includes
SC&C’s performance alignment spec sheet.
Also available, the optional toe adapter that takes the
guesswork out of setting your toe in.
Howe Ball Joint Separator
Separating ball joint studs from the spindles can be a real
pain. "Pickle Forks" tear the dust boots and aren't thick enough
for tall ball joints. Beating on the spindle with a big hammer
isn't a great idea either and you're certainly not going to do
that with AFX aluminum spindles!
Howe to the rescue. This new tool is very similar to the
discontinued model make years ago by Kent-Moore tools which was
a copy of the old service tool made by GM. Quick and easy to use
it never contacts the spindle itself and it doesn't hurt the
dust boots.
Note: this tool is for separating the tapered studs from the
spindles it is not a ball joint press.
